CV of Dr. Morena Sallabanda Hajro, MD, PhD, MSc

Dr. Morena Sallabanda is a Radiation Oncologist at IRCA and complements her professional work at the Proton Therapy Center of Quirón Salud.

She studied Medicine and Surgery in Madrid, at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and at the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón, receiving her doctorate in 2021 after a 5-year research thesis.

During that time he also completed the Master in Radiosurgery, of which, over the years he has ended up contributing his experience and participating as a teacher.

His experience as a specialist in Radiation Oncology is extensive, having held this position within the entity Genesis Care in emblematic hospitals such as the Milagrosa Hospital in Madrid and the Cyberknife Unit in Madrid.

He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro in Majadahonda.

His foreign career includes,

  • Proton Therapy at the Penn Medical University Health System of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, U.S.A.
  • Radiation Oncology Rotation at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, U.S.A.

Therefore, among her many areas of expertise within this field, Dr. Morena got her training as a Radioactive Facilities Supervisor in 2016. As we say, in IRCA it is not precise.
